“Mother’s Day” Set to Film in July

It’s official! My short screenplay “Mother’s Day” will be directed by Emmy-Award-Winning director David J. Eagle and begin filming in late July. Very cool! David produced and directed “Heart Says It All” last year, and that short is currently screening at LA Shorts and DC Short Film Fest in the next few months. “Mother’s Day” is a poignant drama about what a young boy has to do to celebrate Mother’s Day with his family. David’s son Jesse Eagle will be DPing once again, which is awesome because he has been mastering the art of filmmaking and will be attending USC Film School in the Fall. We’ll be holding casting calls through July to find the right kid (8-10 years old) to play the role, along with a Mom and Dad (both 40’s). Exciting!  UPDATE: Production’s been put on hold for now. sigh.
