Last week, “Hours Before” screened at the San Diego FF on Friday and the Vancouver FF on Monday. I didn’t attend either function, but director Joel Moore did (UPDATE 10/14: Joel couldn’t make it after all) as well as DP Dustin Pearlman. Dustin described on his awesome blog how the Vancouver festival invited a whole group of high-schoolers to check out the film (among others in the “teenage hell” series of shorts) so it played to a packed house! Dustin also broke the news that “Hours Before” made it into the Miami Short Film Festival running November 13-20, full list of selected films here.
